  2. Thanks Dawn! The adoption section of aKeKee looks great, but I am SO opposed to SELLING pets on the internet.Even with adoption, I always tell friends and clients to meet the parents of purposely bred pets when possible, and visit rescues when adopting pets that way.Even when using Petfinder, it is always best to meet pets in person before adopting to make sure they are your pet and, just as importantly, to make sure that the people who have the pets are of high integrity and taking good care of the pets in their care! I would like to learn more about aKeKee. It sounds like it could be a great service.

Wouldn’t that be nice? If pets were moving too quickly out of shelters for Petfinder to be of any use? One can dream. Hopefully yesterday’s celebration was one step in that direction!
