Douglass-If an unfamiliar dog approaches you on a walk, slowly walk away from him or her without making eye contact. Having your dog on a leash gives you the advantage of control and the ability to scoop up your dog or pull him or her back if need be. Do not ever reach into a dog fight, as you are very likely to get hurt yourself. I hope you do not ever have to deal with this situation!

So what should you do if you were walking your dog and an agressive dog came up to you. What would be the best ways to handle a situation like this. What are some ways to get the dog to go away from you and what should you do if the dog attacks you or your dog?
